At this time of the year, it is always important to remember to keep up with any storm damage caused to your home. When the El Nino forms, a mass of warm water from the Western Pacific and Indian Oceans move towards South America. You might think that because this is situated below the equator that it would not have an effect on the U.S., but this is not the case. When the El Nino moves in it changes weather patterns all over the world. In the case of North America storm systems move south and bring thunderstorms and hail damage. Hail damage from these types of storms can be quite severe and may even cause enough damage that would require you to hire a roofing contractor.
