I have been looking over the weather maps of the last few days and have seen a decrease in the amount of thunderstorms that have run through the area of the Midwest. There are other parts of the country that do need to be concerned about this time of year because this is the peak of the hurricane season. There has been a real absence of hurricanes this year and it has me wondering if the season is starting late. This may in fact be due to a weak El Nino but that usually means that the season has yet to begin in earnest.
One of the things that I noticed this year was an increase in flash floods. This was especially true for the Midwest region which has endured a wet summer. One potential fallback could be an increase of winter thunderstorms which can be very dangerous. Not only is there the threat of hail damage, but you also put yourself at risk when driving in these conditions. At least with hail damage you have the option of hiring a good roofing contractor like Evergreen Construction. Keep their number handy because it might just be a stormy winter.
